But FAST managed to convince them for the same and the maid was sent back to her home country, India within next 2 days.Because of this, the Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Social Support and Training (FAST) has decided to intervene and provide mediation services to the Foreign Domestic Workers (FDW) of Singapore by playing the role of a neutral third party in such disputes. Since September, FAST has tackled four cases.

Celebrating their 10th Anniversary in February 2016, FAST has announced the official launch of a mediation service for maids and employers with 5 mediators on board who will be provided with the training on labor laws and FDW rights beforehand.
